Uprising, one brand connecting surf, skiing and a founder’s vision

Uprising brings together two performance-led ventures created by former racing driver Nick Leventis: a Surf Lab in Nazaré and a ski school in Les 3 Vallées.

The challenge was to present two distinct locations, sporting disciplines and audiences as part of one coherent founder-led brand.

Slava defined how the Surf Lab and Ski School should sit within the Uprising ecosystem, then developed the complete digital presence around that architecture. We created the sitemap, structured the services, established the brand voice and wrote the website copy across both ventures.

The website was not designed primarily as a booking or customer-acquisition platform. Both businesses generate clients through their trainers’ established networks. Its role was instead to provide a credible destination for journalists, partners and anyone wanting to understand the wider Uprising vision.

Alongside the digital work, Slava leads press relations and works with Nick on his ongoing personal positioning, ensuring that the story presented to the media remains consistent with what audiences discover online.

The outcome

Uprising now presents its surf and ski ventures through one coherent narrative, supported by a website built for credibility and a press strategy designed around the founder’s wider vision.

Coverage has included Forbes Portugal, Vogue Portugal, Central Magazine and SAPO.

The Forbes Portugal feature was particularly strategic, establishing Nick Leventis and the Uprising Surf Lab within the context of Nazaré and its international surf community.
