Unicosmetics, launching a beauty brand founded at sixteen
Unicosmetics is a beauty brand specialising in lip gloss, created by a founder who was just sixteen years old at launch.
Her age made the story immediately compelling, but it also created a strategic challenge: how could the brand benefit from the interest surrounding its young founder while establishing credibility for the products and business in their own right?
Slava was appointed as an ongoing strategic and communications partner for the brand’s first year.
Working closely with the internal marketing team, we developed the positioning, messaging and website copy required to introduce Unicosmetics as an ambitious beauty business rather than a short-lived founder story.
We then led the launch and international press strategy across France, Italy, Spain, Monaco, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, adapting the narrative for both beauty media and influential profiles.
The objective was not to separate the founder from the company, but to ensure that her story opened the door while the strength and ambition of the brand gave people a reason to remain interested.

The outcome
The launch generated editorial and influential-profile interest across several European markets.
Results included coverage and collaborations involving ELLE Lithuania, Harper’s Bazaar Greece, Numéro Netherlands, Jade Distinguin and Kelly Piquet.
The year-long engagement gave Unicosmetics a clearer market narrative, a credible digital presentation and a communications foundation capable of supporting the brand beyond the initial interest generated by its founder’s age.
