Our client developed an amazing new social-video app for meeting new people, SVPER. The application leverages blockchain to enhance security and transparency and also rewards users for meet-ups through SVP tokens. They placed their trust in us to launch the app, advise on the development required to achieve its full potential and elevate its profile within a saturated market.
Our detailed review of the market found that the main pain points and concerns of the target user base were the inconsistency of replies, unrealistic or outdated profile pictures, and the vast numbers of bots. There was also a clear trend towards broader online socializing.
We advised that SVPER should address these user pain-points and position the project as an app for forming new real-life relationships in real time to further differentiate itself from the competition, who were introducing new features to move away from a siloed online dating offering , but whose brand identity didn’t position them in this niche.
We then developed a branding and communication strategy, with a bounty campaign to engage the crypto community as part of the ICO campaign and a wider social media campaign targeting each user profile to build up the prospective user base ahead of launch.
Through an integrated communication campaign across various platforms and through productive collaboration with our client, the SVPER App amassed 45k followers on social media within 3 months and achieved the necessary funds to proceed to development. With the additional success of publications in more than 30 magazines and websites and 20k participants in the Bounty Campaign, the SVPER App could launch with a strong brand identity and bespoke website.
